What will happen when my secrets are exposed?

I’m lying to my mom about how I make my living.
I’m lying to the Ballsy Boys about my life.
I’m lying to myself about who I am.

I pretend to be Campy, but I am Cameron. But does anyone even know the real me?

When I meet my new roommate, a sexy Texan cowboy and break-out TV star named Jackson, all my lies start to come out. He makes me want to be myself, but I’ve spun so many lies that I don’t even know who I am anymore. The more I fall for him, the more I worry that all my secrets will destroy us before we have a chance to be together.

Good thing Jackson has a stubborn streak and won’t give up so easily.

"I love all the boys in this series, but Cameron and Jackson quickly became my faves. Watching Cameron and Jackson struggle to overcome the obstacles in their path and fall in love pulls at your heart strings. Campy is a heartwarming, feel good read with plenty of love, laughter and angst (it's sexy as hell too). You will not want to put it down!"

Campy Ballsy Boys Book 4 edition by KM Neuhold Nora Phoenix Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

  • Probably my favorite Ballsy Boy book so far, and that’s hard to say cause you have to love Rebel, Brewer, Tank, Heart & all their men! But who can resist a real southern boy, Texas drawl, cowboy hat & boots with an awe shucks attitude that will do anything, absolutely anything to let the man he loves know he is loved and valued in return? This story shows just how far some people are willing to go to take care of their family, for the ones they love. It also shows how much it hurts when a family cannot accept a child the way god made him, and the things he does to find that love and acceptance on his own. And for it all to unfold in the tabloids....smh, it’s an amazing story of love & courage. A feel good story that I know I will read again & again, so much love, not only between the main characters but you can feel the love between the friends they meet on their journey. You nailed it ladies, can’t wait for Bally Boys #5!!😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍 seriously wish I could give this book more than 5 stars ✨ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Steamy and sweet romance that will warm your heart! I have loved each of the Ballsey Boy books, however this is my favorite. Both MC's are such special people and i really felt a connection with both of them. I fell in love with their hearts and their goodness. I loved Cameron's mom and how she was so accepting and loving.

One of the things i really enjoyed about this book was the careful journey that lead to Cameron's awakening and his acceptance of his his preferences. This is such a slow burn romance with the focus on the friendship and on character development.

Cameron and Jackson are very special together and they will find a home in your heart. There are so many special moments in this book, from learning to ride to star gazing. i highly recommend this book!

I think this book could be read as a stand-alone, however it would be even better if you have read the previous books. You will love this whole series!
  • So this was great but I did have an issue with the reason Cam says he was in porn. Ok, so his mom has MS and can no longer work. Plus there are her medical expenses. Well MS is covered with disability. She would have qualified for Medicare and probably would have been able to get a secondary insurance as well. There would still be some expenses but why didn't he just live with her? He said his rent cost him $3000 a month before getting a roommate. That would have been an unnecessary expense, I think. It's not an issue to me that he did porn and his mom's health could have been a reason; like someone needs to take care of her, he had to drop out of school when she first started to need help and now he's saving money for school. It was just this plot hole that really got to me, maybe because my mom has MS and I know the drill. Other than that Cam and Jackson's story is cute and I enjoyed it. That's why I still gave 4*.
  • I absolutely adore the way this book isn't what you would automatically expect.
A gay porn star and a hot, Texan cowboy becomes roommates and discovers that there's a mutual attraction. All of that makes you think that it's might just be hot men and sexy times when it's actually really romantic, emotional and sweet but in a new setting.
Cam is so sweet and Jackson is so old fashioned and romantic, they are totally made for each other and I really enjoyed seeing Cam find out who he really is.

Can't wait for Pixie and Bear!!
  • Campy (Cameron) is a Ballsy Boy. Uncomfortable in his own skin. He works as a porn star. Only able to work part time with the animals he loves. He takes care of his mom and dreams about veterinary school. When Jackson becomes his roommate he has no idea that all his dreams are just within his reach.

Jackson has become my new favorite (even if he isn’t technically a Ballsy Boy). His love and care for Cameron was very sweet, not letting his secrets keep them apart.

The Ballsy Boys has been a fun series with likable and sexy characters. Each one defining his own place in the series. The authors seem to find the absolute perfect person for their men to fall in love with. With at least one more book in the series, I’m looking forward to it.
  • A good book but, probably in my sole opinion, not a great book, compared to, say, "Tank" which is a novel which had characters on fire. Maybe my judgment is clouded somewhat because I was desperately waiting for "Pixie's story, and "Campy" slipped in under the wire.
Campy turned a bit less macho as the book progressed, and I felt embarrassed for the written character. He's desperately trying to hide the fact from everyone (including the gay Hollywood actor/roommate who he quite likes) that he's a porn star in the gay entertainment business. His other secret is that he's "not gay".
Well-written story, with a proper length, and good easy-flow dialogue. I happily read it.

  • I'm going to be honest, of all the characters in Ballsy Boys, I was fairly ambivalent about Campy. And cowboys aren't really my thing. ANNNND then I read the book and couldn't put it down. I loved how Campy unraveled and Jackson's sure and steady leveled him out. I would say it was an unexpected delight, but it's not because this whole series is a "highly recommend" from me. Now, bring on Pixie....Please.....
